A dad's to do list

We have put together a ‘To Do’ list for all dads – to help you plan for a better year. Click on each of the items to learn more!

To Do:

Nothing: schedule time to just hang out with the family, without any of the pressures of everyday life.

Say ‘I love you’: three little words that can help your children grow up secure and confident.

Look after yourself: be a role model for your children and help the whole family get fit. Learn something: what better way of helping your child see the joy in learning than through demonstration!

Unleash your creativity: encourage your children to exercise their imagination, by playing creative games – or sitting with them to draw and paint.

Be silly: don’t take yourself too seriously.

Value and respect your children’s mother: whether you are in a relationship or separated, take time to show that you value your co-parent.

Be there: if your child plays sports, be at the touchline for them; if they act, sing or play a musical instrument be the one to give them as standing ovation.
