“Annoying, embarrassing...but a good Dad too"

 

Kevin Brennan MP is the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children, Young People and Families. He is involved with the implementation of the Children’s Plan, which aims to make this Country the best place in the world for our children and young people to grow up. Kevin is, more importantly, a Dad.

Dads-Space is one of the many services which receives funding from the Department for Children, Schools and Families Family Information Direct Programme. Family Information Direct aims to make sure that parents can get the help they need, when they need it and in the format they want it.

Dads-Space aims to help Kevin and all Dads like him who find they are only able to spend limited time with their children, to make the most of that time. We aim to provide up-to-date and useful information and offer expert advice and opinion.

“Kids don’t come with instructions
you have to learn as you go along, so no one can really teach you.”

It’s true – kids don’t come with an instruction manual, and all children are unique. There can never be a ‘one size fits all’ approach to parenting. Dads-Space hopes that, with your help, we can – at least – share experiences of fatherhood and give some useful factual information to help you to ‘learn as you go along.’
