Dads Space 1-2-1

What is Dads Space 1-2-1?

There’s more to Dads’ Space than meets the eye. In addition to no-nonsense parenting advice, we also have our partner service: Dads’ Space 1-2-1 - the Virtual Child Contact Centre, which has been created for fathers who are separated from their children, either by work, or by the breakdown of a relationship. The 1-2-1 service encourages Dads to improve their relationship with their children; even enabling children to stay in contact with their Dad in difficult circumstances.

As with the main Dads’ Space site, 1-2-1 has been backed by the Government Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF).

dads, fathers, 1-2-1, respect,

1-2-1 is safe!
It’s important to note that 1-2-1 is NOT a social networking site – the only person that the child will be able to talk to is their parents. Think of it like a walkie talkie, with the added bonus of the extra interactivity made possible by the web. This keeps your child safe from outside influences, and gives you peace of mind.

1-2-1 is fun!
In addition to being able to communicate with your child, the 1-2-1 space also allows you play simple games, send each other pictures and even greetings cards.

By using the service, you can also earn points which you can use to earn gifts for your kids – you can send them new backgrounds for the site, virtual pets, and many other exciting interactive toys.

So where do I sign up?

At the moment the service only works through a referrals process. If you’d like more information about the service, or would like to make a referral, please contact the Dads’ Space 1-2-1 Team. You can write to them at: info@dads-space.org
