"James and Issy have Annabel, 4. Issy works extremely hard as the Creative Director of a greetings card company and James works quite hard as a freelance writer in his office at home, but also looks after Annabel when she's not at pre-school. Together they have riotous adventures, but rather infrequently. A lot of the time they play boardgames or paint the carpets accidentally. They make fairy cakes, and discuss whether, years from now, they'd regret changing the name of their female golden retriever from Holly to Robbie Rotten. They also watch more TV together than they should."
