He may be on a career high with Batman's boffo box office this weekend, but the London premiere on Monday of Christian Bale's latest movie, The Dark Knight was overshadowed by claims of assault from the star's mother and sister. The family members were all staying in the Dorchester Hotel when the alleged altercation took place on Sunday night.
Bale, who has a three year old daughter with his wife Sibi was arrested in his suite at London's Dorchester Hotel and questioned for four hours by Hampshire Constabulary. He was later released on bail until September while police investigate further.
