Can a rainbow ever be white? How do you make a kaleidoscope of colour disappear? Find out the answer to these colourful questions in a fun and creative family art workshop exploring the magical world of colour.

Draw around your body and make yourself into a doodle-tastic work of art in a fun filled activity that will get the whole family drawing! By exploring different materials and drawing ideas you’ll add patterns, textures and shapes to your unique life-size doodle of you!

Take a look at our Pop Up exhibition in the Galleries and join us to make your own fantastic pop-up greetings cards for family and friends. Using our Christmas show The Wizard of Oz as inspiration, you’ll discover how to make your favourite characters and scenes literally burst out of the card! At 2pm Boostercushion Theatre’s performance of “A Christmas Carol” takes place in the Galleries featuring a giant pop-up book as its backdrop from which props and costumes are produced. The show involves lots of participation from the audience to take the parts of Tiny Tim, Cratchit, Fezziwig and others, to help Scrooge change his miserable ways in this comical version of the Dickensian classic.
