Publisher's description:
My Daddy is a giant. When I want to cuddle him, I have to climb a ladder. He might sneeze like a hurricane and make the ground shake when he runs, but this daddy is a gentle giant. He loves his little boy with all his giant heart (even if he does always win at football!).
Dads Space Review by Tim Auvache:
Not really a storybook but a good bedtime read nonetheless. The book shows the ‘giant’ Dad through the eyes of his Son, who explains how when Daddy sneezes or laughs it’s like a hurricane and how Daddy can kick a football to the moon. The illustrations are large, bright, and uncluttered, showing the Dad on each page as described by the Son. It’s good for Dads who like to act out the scenes - a chance for us to stomp around the bedroom or stride into the living room and pretend the sofa is a mountain.
With touching sentiment, it’s a bonding book which deals with emotions in a subtle way, a simple concept for younger kids to follow and a great way for Dads to show off their super powers!
