After a thrilling (and occasionally controversial) Olympics in Beijing, Team GB arrived back in the UK yesterday to a heroes welcome. Which is nothing less than they deserved – with a medal haul that included 19 golds, 13 silvers and 15 bronzes, it was Britains most successful Olympics in 100 years! Nothing summed it up for us better than this picture of cyclist Jamie Staff letting his son Theodore play with his gold medal – hopefully young Theo will follow in his dads er.. pedal pushes.
