Parentline Plus
Parentline Plus are a national charity offering help and information for parents and families. They offer a free 24-hour confidential Parentline phone number, information leaflets, groups and workshops, email support and a website.

Great parenting site aimed at mums (though there are a few dads about too) with lots of local information. Offers forums and ideas for days out.

YoungMinds is a national charity committed to improving the mental health of all children and young people under 25. Conflict and abusive behaviour in relationships advice

Respect
Respect is the UK membership association for domestic violence perpetrator programmes and associated support services. Their key focus is on increasing the safety of those experiencing domestic violence through promoting effective interventions with perpetrators.

Separated Dads advice

Child Support Agency
Part of the Department for Work and Pensions, they're responsible for assessing, collecting, paying and enforcing child maintenance.

National Association of Child Contact Centres
A national network of child contact centres offring safe child contact. The centres are safe, neutral places where children from separated famillies can spend time with one or both parents.

One Parent Families
Provide a helpline with free information for lone parent families, with advice on benefits, tax, legal rights, family law, contact issues, CSA and returning to work.

If you're having problems sorting out contact arrangements, a mediator can help. This is the umbrella organisation for local family mediation services, and they can tell you where your local service is.
