Dads Space Review:
Videogame fanboys have been frothing at the mouth for this one. It’s a sci-fi war game, and like the previous entries in the series, the emphasis is on trying NOT to kill people, with success measured by how many people you manage to sneak past unnoticed. Handily, your “Octocamo” suit automatically blends into any surface it touches, rendering you almost invisible to the eyes of the soldiers around you.

Metal Gear Solid 4 looks and feels like an action movie – albeit one where everyone stops every now and then for a twenty minute philosophical chin wag on the nature of war. Between the boring talkie bits though there’s plenty of epic action to be found, although the swearing and bloody combat means that this is not suitable for kids under 16. If you’ve got older teenagers lucky enough to own a PlayStation 3 though, bringing this one home will make you the coolest dad on the block.
