On 25th May, families from all over the country gathered in Regent's Park, London, to attend the National Family Week Picnic, a world-record breaking attempt to hold the largest picnic ever. The event was also home to the Family of the year awards, which consisted of Family of the Year, Mum of the Year (in association with Mumsnet.com) and our Dad of the Year.
The Family of the year were the Stevens family, Mum of the Year was Vicky Young, and our Dad of the Year was Alan Kennedy, who you can read more about here.
The celebs were out in force too, with chef Anthony Worrall Thompson, presenter Gail Porter and Olympic champion Sally Gunnell all present. It was a fantastic day, and you if you missed it, you can check out our video diary of the day above!
