Every Monday to Friday during the summer holidays you can drop into Quay and work with an artist to create your own artwork inspired by BALTIC’s exhibitions. Each week a different artist will work in Quay with a different approach.

Toddler Tuesday
Every Tuesday from 9 September 10.45 - 11.45
£3.00 adult / £3.00 child / £1.50 additional children
Toddlers are especially welcome to BALTIC on Tuesdays. Activities will explore shape, colour and texture using a variety of materials. On arrival tickets can be bought from the Information Desk and are handed in to the session leader before the fun begins. Activities are aimed at children aged 2-4 years old, but the session is open to all under 4 year olds. Max 15 places.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Doodle Day
Saturday 18 October 11.00-16.00

To celebrate the national campaign The Big Draw, BALTIC is hosting a day of doodling, scribbling, etching (on an Etch-a-Sketch) and drawing. Take part in an Etch-a-Sketch competition (for both children and adults), have your doodle hung on the wall and take part in lots of drawing games.

To make Halloween really extra spooky BALTIC would like your help to carve as many pumpkins as possible over 2 days. No experience needed – just dress up in your best Halloween outfit (but only if you want to) and come along and get carving creatively. A limited number of pumpkins are available and Pumpkin Pie will be available in the café!
